Imeve Live Release Notes

Imeve Live 2.3 (December 2018)

  • Add 2D or 3D graphics to your live production. Preview your authored scene before publishing to broadcast outputs.
  • With 2.3, Imeve Live is installed as a startup application and runs in the background (instead of as a windows service). The application can be managed from the Windows System Tray.
  • Control exposure for Z Cam directly from Imeve Live.
  • Added support for CUDA 10 and Turing GPUs (eg RTX 2080). This will require an update to NVIDIA drivers (>= 411.31)
  • Specify custom folder for archived, live and graphics assets.
  • Low latency streaming options using RTP (Outputs->Stream->Custom)
  • Imeve Live 2.3 cannot be started / stopped over a Remote Desktop connection because of certain limitations in running OpenGL applications over RDP sessions when you are using a consumer line GPU (Geforce). Quadro or Tesla GPUs do not suffer from that limitation. As an alternative, you may consider using TeamViewer or one of VNC alternatives for remote system administration.
  • If you PC/ laptop has also integrated Intel Graphics, you may need to disable it in order to keep Imeve Live from running on it instead of the dedicated NVIDIA GPU. Furthermore, avoid connecting your external monitor to the HDMI port of onboard graphics for the same reason.

Imeve Live 2.2 (September 2018)

  • Support for ZCam S1 and S1 Pro cameras (Only in the Windows version)
  • Optimize your stitching with built-in, easy to use camera rig calibration functions (Only in the Windows version)

  • Facebook Live : Added support for streaming stereoscopic 360 and 180 with spatial audio

Imeve Live 2.1 (March 2018)

  • Added support for 60 fps from OZO camera. Due to the near doubling of GPU workload, 4k@60 fps processing requires dual GTX 1080 GPU servers/ workstations. 60 fps is supported by using any of the following cards for output – AJA Kona 4, AJA Corvid44, AJA Corvid88, Blackmagic Decklink 4K Pro 12G-SDI or Blackmagic Decklink 4K Extreme 12G-SDI. To enable, set ‘Video Input Frame Format’ in input settings to ‘OZO, 60fps’ and frame rate to 60 in the output settings.
  • Bug fixes and minor performance gains.
  • Previously activated licenses from Nokia will no longer be valid. Please visit our website or contact Imeve Support for a license to use the full feature set without watermark.
