Imeve is glad to announce that we’ve become the newest member of the VR Industry Forum.

The VRIF is a technical group with a focus on establishing best practices for interoperability of high-quality VR content. Its recently-published Guidelines are an important step towards making higher-quality VR audio-visual experiences more widely available. The VRIF is especially working towards next-generation audio-visual standards such as OMAF and MPEG-H, and we’re glad to be a part of their efforts.

We join VRIF charter members Intel, Qualcomm, Fraunhofer, Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Dolby, DTS, CableLabs, EBU, Sky and TNO, along with a broad consortium of contributor and associate members. Together we’ll be continuing to push for standards that encourage participation and enable a bright future for immersive technologies.

Imeve will be the featured guest in VRIF’s booth at NAB, North Hall N2034FP. Book a meeting with us using this link:¬†
